I loved Lego as a kid, and keep reading about adults still using them as a hobby. I've often thought to myself, wouldn't it be fun if I went back to that myself.

Years ago I used to play The Sims 2, not for the gameplay, but because of the building opportunities the game engine presented. I had houses that had such design complexity they pushed the game, I believe, to its limits, but even then, I thought it was too restrictive. I could never get into Sims 3, and never tried Sims 4. "Real" home building software is just too complex for my liking.

I think there's a real need for some creative outlet. Lego might fulfill that, to some extent, but it just gets crazy expensive if you're serious about it.

I've seen some software decades ago that let you work with virtual Lego, so to speak, but found the controls to be way too difficult to be useful.
