the store procedure i have made
in that
i wnat to search not only one field.
my table contains
SER_TRN_ID
SER_NAME
SER_CITY
SER_AMOUNT
and so on
and from my programming side i will pass just one parameter and a flag
the flag is int and will be in if statement
if flag=1 then
search by SER_TRN_ID
elseif flag=2 then
search by SER_NAME

Hi sir can you help on creating my sms and email application using vb.net
it will surely help me a lot to build a new sms application for our department.
I hope you can guide me on this matter i want to know the source code that will connect my application to a modem and any enhancement i can do. I am a graduate of computer programming i only understand some basics, but now i am interested on doing this though i am not familiar which steps i must go to start this application.
Please i need your expertise on this matter.

I'm sorry, you're a bit lost. This forum is not the place for programming questions, the Quick Answers tab will get you my attention if I have time and inclination to give people free support, another others if I am not. I will tell you that your thought process is wrong. You send email by connecting to a mail server, and SMS by calling a webservice from a provider you pay to let you send SMS on their network. You don't need to connect to a modem, you just need an internet connection, which happens without you writing code.

I am using windows Application using C#.
In My project, I have one ListView (Listview1), 2 text boxes (txtbox1,txtbox2) and 1 button (btnsubmit) controls.
ListView contains Five items (Apple,Orange,Graphs,Banana,Papaya).
From the Listview, I have to select(Using Mouse)top most first item (Apple). Then I entered the txtbox1 some values (Ex:123), Again I can select second item (Orange) from Listview then I entered the txtbox1 some different values (Ex:789), Again I can Select third item (Graphs) form Listview, then I entered the txtbox1 some values (Ex:456).
What I expect, if I select the first item (Apple) from Listview, the txtbox2 will shows the value 123, if I select the second item (Orange) from Listview the txtbox2 will shows the value 789, if I select the third item (Graphs) from Listview the txtbox3 will shows the value 456.
I hope every one understood my Question. If any one not understand i am ready to explain again. I need this solution very urgent give me the solution as soon as possible

20 years ago you've written the following useful article: TransparentBlt() and AlphaBlend() for Windows 95 | Dr Dobb's[^].
Unfortunately, it hasn't archived the code, and using the Wayback Machine I could only find a part of it, namely the
TransparentBltU method. I'm after AlphaBlendU.
Do you perhaps still have this code in one of your archives? It'd be a great help!

I've since found the complete source code as part of the source code of FreeSSHd. 
But I'd still need some kind of permission or license from you, the original author. FreeSSHd is MIT, but source code posted on Windows Developer Network isn't in the public domain.
