I may want to access the database in multi-threaded applications across multiple process. It seems to me that Access is much better, may be than the SQLite. My concern is that prerequisites dependencies to the user and the size of the installer.

If I have thousands of records, is it better than Access. Or which one is the best? Is there an editor work on with SQLite? Sorry that I haven't work with it before.

What I'm doing is write a line of text into a file and wait the specified time (using Thread.Sleep), and then write another line to the same file. What I want to do is, if I cancel the background thread while in the Thread.Sleep I want to immediately terminate the all. Now what happen is after the Thread.Sleep elapse only the stuff on cancellation happens. Is that clear to you now :)

As you said the text box is a multiline text box and I have added vertical scroll bar too. As you know each time I append the text its automatically scroll to the bottom of the text box. I tried the code above, but once I scroll the scroll bar up/down it didn't work. Rather appending at the bottom its added here and there.

Its like, in a text box you are keep adding content and it scrolling down to display the latest content. In case I want to see the previous content I have to scroll the vertical scroll bar to the top, but I can't because the content adding scroll down. I just want control that.

Finally I was able to fix the issue. Initially my network not properly connected from the virtual box. Fixed it and install the g++ compiler, and everything is working fine now. Thanks again. :)

Actually I know how the web works and all related. My concern is not about that, but how touch-screen related functionalities works. For example, we can implement drag-drop in many ways. I have already enabled the mysqli dll.

Yeah, I tried with MyAdmin. On the login page I can see the following error message.

"The mysqli extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration. "

Here what I have tried,

Simply print the path of the file and it is available in the relevant path. So no issue was there.

I couldn't find a direct way to identify that my hhp file is in use by another app. Simply restart the PC and still didn't work. However, if I double click on my bat file it is successfully compiled and create the chm file.

I am just replying on what that OP suggest, not asking any question in that particular post mate.

Actually what my bat file does is compile a *.chm file, a help package to my project. So all the page in place and once I double-click on the bat it create the help successfully, without any error.

Actually I have already look at it. Basically that log base on the threshold, which I don't want to do. What I want to do is in a same application with two different events or actions I want to log into two different files. So in both file there can be Error, Warn, Info logs.

Actually you don't need to include any JS file part from what comes with the jQuery package. But you have to do some JS stuff to attach with your application.

Look at the step 3. That is the JS segment where jquery-1.6.4.js is used and build the application. Got it? In other words, jquery-1.6.4.js is just define the underlying architecture of the jQuery, and step 3 use it and implement something new on it.
