how to divide a page in to two ?

i want to do a process like this...
i am planed to show two web pages in a page...
here the left hand side page should be static depends upon the selection in left side the right side column post to the corresponding page?
how?
is this possible in ASP.NET

Yes, it is possible with asp.net. But what you have search on that, did you try anything?
