i would like to recive all forum submission(doubts) messages in my inbox. no matter it is answer or new post.
Now what we are getting is the answer for our own post. i want all post and answers in my inbox.
And can able to choose which technology that i want in my inbox (eg. C# Submisions only )

I've been recently much involved in Boost, and I've got the hunch that many people do not approach this library repository for fear it is too complex and lack of adequate support, both tutorials and online forums.
My sugestion is that a new message board is set up devoted to Boost, and also an article subsection, much as it is done now for STL. I've probed for interest in the lounge a couple of days ago, and although people didn't get mad about it, I think some of us can still provide support by answering entry-level questions there (I certainly volunteer to do so.)
If the subsection is created, it'd be fine if some of the articles related to Boost get moved here. There must be around ten or so articles suited for inclusion right now.

Me think that if Chris create a boost discussion board, everyone else will want to have discussion boards for their own prefered technology.

This is a valid point, that's why I'm trying to poll for general interest. That said, Boost aspires to be a general purpose library repository along the lines of the C++ std library and the STL. In this regard, its place is a little different than someone's preferred technology --everyone being serious about C++ (or C++/CLI, for that matter) will get acquainted with Boost in the following years, or that's what I think at least.

This is pretty much the case. I get requests for DirectX,
OpenGL, CAD - you name it.
I'm working on a way to allow us to have boards on as many topics we wish without the splintering problems that typically arise when this is done.

If you are going to change things at some point in time, I think a small rearrangement of forums should be considered.
ATL, WTL and STL for instance, should be separated. The only thing STL has in common with ATL and WTL is the T(emplates) and CComEnumOnSTLImpl et al. Perhaps you should consider removing STL from that holy trio and pair it with boost (which is more related to STL and STL to ATL/WTL).

Sweet. Perhaps something like child boards whose threads also appear in the parent? Or an ultra-fast-ultra-flexible forum search? Or super-intelligent cyborg slaves assigned to work for each user while the users themselves are served cool drinks by a fleet of monkey-butlers?

Almost what I was thinking. How about removing STL from the trio, to pair it with boost in a new forum? After all, STL has very little in common with ATL and WTL. ComEnumOnSTLImpl and the fact that they all use templates are the only relations I can think of.

I miss a functionality when searching for an article: the capability to sort the results either by ratings or by update dates. IMHO, it would be ultra hyper super cool if this was implemented.

it goes over the menu item, how much items to display per page, the combobox goes through the menu... looks kinda stupid and annoying to pick last items..

This is a known issue.
If you have a browse through the Lounge or the Suggestions forums, you'll probably find the thread where we gave Chris stick about it. 
I think the problem got put on the back-burner due to more pressing performance and load-balancing issues.

Isn't it always fun when a system that you've built around your own understanding and expectations is suddenly placed in the hands of someone who hasn't the benefit of knowing which bits are safe and which bits are heavily trip wired. They get that 'holding a live snake by the throat' look in their eyes
The crowning moment came a few days ago when we were discussing a feature she needs, and while I was trying to nugget out how to get it to work she rolls off a quick schematic of how it could all work, and blow me down if it wasn't one of the most elegant solutions I'd seen in a while. That's right: our Marketing Manager is architecting the backend infrastructure.

Actually, its quiet nice that she rolls up her sleeves and gets involved. Very atypical for a marketing person. Usually, its "I've told customer x that we have this feature. We need it by Friday. I'm off to the pub. Bye"
