Even though it is technically wrong, Boost could be added to the WTL/STL/ATL board.

Almost what I was thinking. How about removing STL from the trio, to pair it with boost in a new forum? After all, STL has very little in common with ATL and WTL. ComEnumOnSTLImpl and the fact that they all use templates are the only relations I can think of.

I miss a functionality when searching for an article: the capability to sort the results either by ratings or by update dates. IMHO, it would be ultra hyper super cool if this was implemented.

it goes over the menu item, how much items to display per page, the combobox goes through the menu... looks kinda stupid and annoying to pick last items..

This is a known issue.
If you have a browse through the Lounge or the Suggestions forums, you'll probably find the thread where we gave Chris stick about it. 
I think the problem got put on the back-burner due to more pressing performance and load-balancing issues.

Isn't it always fun when a system that you've built around your own understanding and expectations is suddenly placed in the hands of someone who hasn't the benefit of knowing which bits are safe and which bits are heavily trip wired. They get that 'holding a live snake by the throat' look in their eyes
The crowning moment came a few days ago when we were discussing a feature she needs, and while I was trying to nugget out how to get it to work she rolls off a quick schematic of how it could all work, and blow me down if it wasn't one of the most elegant solutions I'd seen in a while. That's right: our Marketing Manager is architecting the backend infrastructure.

Actually, its quiet nice that she rolls up her sleeves and gets involved. Very atypical for a marketing person. Usually, its "I've told customer x that we have this feature. We need it by Friday. I'm off to the pub. Bye"

It is caused by a bug in IE. If you view the page using, for example, FireFox the menu correctly appears in front of the drop down combo box.

On some NNTP newsgroups, someone regularly compiles or updates a FAQ for group newbies, to avoid the obvious repetative questions. I think the CodeProject forums have been around long enough that there is a strong enough base of questions to be able to create FAQs for each forum.
These could be posted at the top of each forum, perhaps as a link to an article which contains questions, and links to relevant information.

Yes, it is slow. Alone bringing up this page took me getting on to 10 minutes, which is painfully slow for a broadband internet connection. But it fluctuates: Some articles take ages to display, while others display at once. Maybe it's connected to time of day...
BTW I'm accessing the site from the UK with a 1.5 mb broadband connection.
