No I am not going to ask that South Africa be made an option because we don't consider ourselves part of Africa 
But I am surprised that Australia has such a low score, or do Aussies not like voting? Fear of the ballot? (could be a good movie title for a story about Florida eh?)
Also quite amazed that there are that many Africans on here Wonder how many are South African... (informal poll...)

Maybe next time the poll could be more complex, just the countries, and then group it in the staditisc, by countries, continents, EU ( European Union), North states, South America, ... whatever, that could be very funny. eek:
I think Germany should be like UK, a lot of programmers there  ,I'm from Spain, and for me it would be quite nice to know how many people from there is connected to codeguru :

That makes me remember a thing.... Codeproject is pretty cool to search articles ( it´s quite quite better than codeguru, maybe just because the people preffers to cooperate with real programmers that with sh*tty international firms...
But.... the discussion boards stuff is quite better in codeguru than in codeproject !, can you change that ? ( for example the thread of the articles, the way it divides the things, and the thing of rating the answers and see the profiles of the programmers), I think it´s pretty cool, and ... not so hard for you to change that ! ( or if you have changed can you promote it )...

DO you think ? I *hate* the rating system on CG. I've had people give me *useless* advice, hassle me to rate them and then flame me when I gave a 2 out of 5. Ratings were discussed here at one stage, and I think most people agreed it would suck.
CG seems to have more people posting than here, but I seriously believe the quality of posts here is much, much higher. I ask questions here and I usually get a very helpful answer. Not so CG, which I stopped using a long time ago.

That's why there is a 'I've lost my password' button. If you ever need to sign in and don't have your password then when you try and sign in you'll see the link to click if you've misplaced your password.

Personally I'm not keen on the CG way of showing messages, but you can always select 'Threaded View' in the 'view' dropdown (look up a bit). Click on the little head next to an authors name to see his/her profile. As to rating - nah - we have enough flame wars as it is!

You have made a lot of changes ( could it be possible if next time you make a big change to announce it in codeproject home page... I was not using your discussion board because some months ago was not so good....)
And yes the thing of Ratings, you are right too... but still I found it a little bit funny , and the idea of Bronze, Silver..., it´s quite good !, I like it a lot ! ( someday I will become platinum... je je je )

The United States vote is probably low because people there have other things on their mind at the moment.

I'm still waiting for some New Zealanders to complain about being lumped with those obnoxious Australians. Then my task will be done.

Relax guys and girls. The point is to show that we (the Code Project community) come from all corners of the globe. The reason some countries are treated separately is because I know that there are disproportionally more readers in some countries than others.

I know what! you write the code for that cookie idea, build an automatic "code inserter" robot. Then all Chris has to do is run it and wallah it works. Of course you will need to test, stabilise, re-test and double check the code as well as put up with the ummm support calls that people give about how the cookie ate their monster and now their Gozilla browser does not work...
