I've been thinking this since the comment system (which is a huge improvement) was introduced. For example, here[^] Abhinav S's 'answer' isn't really an answer it should be a comment IMO. JSOP has essentially made the same comment but at least attempted to guess the question and provide an answer so fair enough. Not a huge problem but maybe worth a 'How to answer/comment' sticky? And adding clarifications to the rep FAQ would reduce these continuous questions and discussions... I don't have anything against rep points (or the pursuit thereof); I'm just tired of seeing them whenever I read this forum. Where are my rep points for [ voting up | voting down | not voting ]? How come my rep points [ went up | went down | stayed the same ]? Do I get more rep points during the week or on weekends? Je suis Canadien. Dois-je obtenir des points rep plus? Why aren't man-points included in my total rep points? ... I'm sick of them. PLEASE put them in their own forum.
