Using C# ASP.NET 2.0,How to send the email using template
The data will be dynamic and images will be there in the template

Do you mean how to generate the template ? A simple way is to put markers in your boilerplate text, and use the string.Format method to insert your values.

Hi!
I have made a small project (in ASP.NET and C#) which connects to SQL Server 2000 Database through an ODBC DSN for which I have written the Query String in the Web.Config File.
The Project is running fine in the ASP Dev. Server.
When I hosted the Site in a Remote Server, its working fine there too.
But
When I am trying to Run it through IIS (The Project is still the same and No Changes has been made to it), then I am getting an Error
Need Help!!

You mean through IIS locally ? Did you consider telling us what the error is, or do we get a prize if we guess ?

These do not close a page. window.close() will, with a prompt for the user ( this is javascript, obviously ). I would hope it goes without saying that no codebehind will close the browser.

Not sure what you meant by "close"
1. You can close the window by using javascript - window.close()
2. It is not possible to close from ASP.NET

Try this in your button_click event:
Response.Write("<script type='text/javascript'>window.close();</script>")
What is happening is that you are sending a small javascript directly to the browser and it is telling the browser to close the active window. It works for me.

Wouldn't it make more sense to write a client click event and do it in js, unless you have other code you want to run first ?

It means you have no idea what you're doing and should stop programming until you've read a basic book or two.
It closes a winforms app, it obviously does not have any use in ASP.NET ( well, obvious if you know the first thing about ASP.NET )

Hi all,
Im selecting a color for event in a color picker. it is saved into the db as hexa code.i want to rerive the values and bind that event into the corresponding color. please let me a way.

FontColor is retrieved as hexa.

The only way I can see, is to have a lookup that checks if the values entered match a known named color.

Hi guys
I want to develop a desktop application for a client of mine who has no web coding experience, the application must be able to download a page from the server so he can update
images and content of a website.
lets make an example:
the client sells cars and wants to remove info on the cars that he sold so he can replace it with another car he just got in..
so he must be able to download the specific page and replace the images there and text.
the pages will be done in asp.net and will be using a master page.. so IN SHORT I just want to change the content without messing up the site code.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Sounds like you have this all backwards. You need to build a CMS that shows details of cars and then had an admin login that allows him to edit/create/delete content.
