Of course, you will have to build the database maintenance utility and modify the existing web site to reference the database. Sounds like a nice challenge. It's really simple, you store your data in your DB, and you write a page which changes by loading different rows from the DB, each row describing, in this instance, a car. Bulls**t talking again or it could be that the client is fully aware of his limitations and is willing to accept the results of a learning experience. Probably paying so little that it will not be painfull to throw it away.
