Hi,

I am trying to serialize an object, I am getting exception as

"Unable to cast object Type A to Type B".

Please help me in finding soultion

Hi,

I am getting an error "Error 1001. A configuration file cannot be created for the requested Configuration object" while updating connection string in web.config file and save while web setup installation.

I am not getting this error, if i make my target directory is wwwroot, but it is giving error if target directory is not wwwroot.

Please help me regarding this.

You can't do any printing in ASP.NET, only in javascript. I don't believe you can set paper orientation.

problem in saving non-english character to sql server

i want to collect a feedfack from user filled in this language(dhivehi).

here is how the language looks like,

i can fill up the feedback form in dhivehi and when i save to sql server its saved in english alphabets.

can you show me a tutorial related to this.

Are you using the unicode types? nvarchar, nchar and ntext. Also what collation are the fields set to?

database columns data type is set to nvarchar.

The confirm box does not show yes/no, it shows confirm/cancel, from memory. You need to write your own control if you want to change the text.

It's possible by using ModalPopup [^]AJAX control.
I costumized this control in my project with Yes/No functionality.

The theme applied to the page is also applied to the master page, As the master page is rendered within the pages context.

Just make sure you set the page theme on the PreInit event.
