The confirm box does not show yes/no, it shows confirm/cancel, from memory. You need to write your own control if you want to change the text.

It's possible by using ModalPopup [^]AJAX control.
I costumized this control in my project with Yes/No functionality.

The theme applied to the page is also applied to the master page, As the master page is rendered within the pages context.
Just make sure you set the page theme on the PreInit event.
Using the wrong tool for the job is half the fun.

Dear All,
I have an ASP.Net applicaiton in which, the user can set some preferences and based on that the data is generated as an html report and I kept it in the server with the name "Test.htm", then I am loading the same in an iframe in that page.
In my development environment the iframe is refreshed with new data whenever I am clicking on the "Generate" button.
But when I uploaded, the html report is generated fine but it is not refreshed in the iframe for that I used the following codes in the javascript:
1. MyFrame.document.location.reload();
2. MyFrame.src = "Test.htm"
3. MyFrame.document.location.href="Test.htm"
Can any one help me to get rid of this issue?

you can load the page from server side for that Iframe tag shoud be runat=server
and in the server you can always keep this code like this
in aspx page <iframe id="getData" height=600 width=300 runat=server scrolling=auto></iframe>
and in .CS page
getThreads.Attributes["getData"] = "Test.htm";

Actually I have one login page where when I validate the user it let me show
Default page. In that page I have some pages listed.I want to give access of
different pages to different users based on their roles. I am not using
membership and roles provider by going into ASP.Net configuration tab and
creating roles and users over there. I have two tables users and roles
already in my sql server database.
Once after validating the users and getting Default page how can I make sure
that e'g if the user is admin he has access to just administration page wwwand
sales person has access to only sales.aspx page etc

The obvious thing to do, is to write a base page, which all pages derive from, which checks the logged in member and if they do not have access, redirects. Then set what permissions are needed in the derived page, or create derived pages to then derive from, for each status you want to apply.

Hi,
I am trying to fix an ASP.NET application that is also written is VB and uses session variables to store the information from the logging page. In Firefox, the application runs just fine, but in IE (I am using IE 8), when I summit the logging credentials, the session variables become empty (takes me back to the logging page).
The weird thing is that when I move the privacy settings in IE (doesn't matter if high to low, or low to high) and enter the logging information again, the application runs great. Also if I restart IIS 6.0 the application runs great. What's going on? Please, help me. Thanks.

I have been testing the application in IIS 5.0 isolation mode and the only problem is that pages that require accessing some resources in the directories don't work because of permission problem; it says something like "access to the path SOMEDIRECTORY was denied". On the other hand, the logging-session problem disappeared. Please help me. Thanks.

Yes it does. It's request header will usually contain all that information for any request made of the server.

Hi,
I have generated a Data GridView and would like to populate it dynamically according to what I type into a textbox, but not after I press a Submit button or so, it must start generating instantely.
Example, as soon as I type "S", the DataGridView will display all the results which begin with an S. As soon as I add "t" in the textbox (it will now have "St"), the DataGridView will just show results begining with "St".
Anyone got a good tutorial for it pls?

question, I have an jpg which I want to be my site background, but i don't want it tiled. I want it stretched. I made my jpg to have a space in the center for a contentPlaceHolder for the contents of my site. My beginners book didn't cover this and I'm kind of clueless, looking for any help whatsoever.

I would say this probably isn't the way to go. What happens when the content exceeds the boundary of the "hole" in the image. It also won't scale well when the page is resized by end users.

Sorry for the misexplanation.
I want the contentPlaceHolder to be scrollable while the background is fixed, something like nbc.com, my image is a vector image so it can be scaled to pretty much any resolution without losing quality, just being slightly warper. I tested on what I consider to be pretty popular resolutions and it works just fine, the only problem I have is how code my master page so that it acts as the site listed above.
