hi
actually my menu control is on master page.i m trying to populae it from
cild page.
on chid page i have a dropdown list.
on DropDownList1_SelectedIndexChanged I am trying to access the master page menu control.and then trying to populate it.but it is not populating.
but if i m trying from pageload of child page.then it is working.
but i want that it should work on DropDownList1_SelectedIndexChanged.

Hi All,
Anybody have an idea where can i get Filtered numeric textbox with comma seperator on thousands. I know there is one in ajax control toolkit and it is nice, however i need to do some formatting when exiting and while writting this control (again aim aware that it is doable by javascript), but is there something ready to use.

Hi All,
Now a days all browsers pop-up's get bolcked for security purpose.
So i'm thinking to use alternative for pop-up in my web site, which should not get blocked say like pop-in calling through java-script.
The purpose of pop-up's in my webapplication is for confirmation msg (eg. you want to save YES/NO)
Any body have great idea for alternate of pop-up.

Then why you are not using Java script Confirm

I have one page which will store inventory detail (inventory.aspx). While clicking on confirm button
pop-up will show (confirmpopup.aspx). this pop-up will show invetory detail and ask do you wan to save. It will get redirect to invetory.aspx as per clicking button 'Save' or 'Cancel'.

Oh, OK. A gridview is rendered as a table. You need to work out what changes in the HTML when a table row is selected, and then do that.

Hello All,
i have a gridview, dropdownlist, textboxex on web page, when i select dropdown item based on selection(from database) button shuld b created ,some of the button are enabled/disabled, red/green based on condition from database.
Then how to add these button to the gridview , and handling event of these button, if i click the button it should not be vanish.
How it could be.

Your best bet is to add a hidden control, and to store details of controls you have created in there, as XML perhaps. You need to create those controls on each postback before page load, for viewstate to be restored.

I have developed a asp website using VS 2005.In my institution there is LAN.I have saved my project(website) in wwwroot in my system in which IIS installed.IP address of my system is 192.168.1.198.I like to access that webpage from another computer using IP address. i.e, by typing " http://192.168.1.198/quantum/" but i got an error Page cannot be displayed.How to correct that error? please help me..

What error are you getting?
Just putting on wwwroot, will not do the Job.
-> Open IIS. [ Run > inetmgr ]
-> If you have already placed it inside wwwroot, it will come to the default web site section.
-> Right Click on That Folder, You will get "application Name" text box is disabled. Click on Create Button.
-> Also verify the ASp.NET Version and Authentication Setting.
-> Now try to access.
