I'm not sure that is what you are looking, but remember the ID ContentPlaceHolder in Master1 and Master2 must be the same.
2.
You can send a adres of previous page in hidden field or in viewstate or remember in session or in cache.

Yes, that's what I was looking for. I just have a casting problem:
I've put this line on top of the aspx page:
<%@ MasterType VirtualPath="~/MainMasterPage.master"%>
The problem is that it's good for one of the masterpages (MainMasterPage) and not for the other, and I can put only one line of this type in the page.
Without the MasterType line, when I try to do the casting in the code behind page, for example:
(UserMasterPage)this.MasterPageFile = "~/UserMasterPage.master";
Then the string on the right side of the equation should be cast to UserMasterPage. Any suggestions?

Sir,i want to disable some of dates in a month.Disable means
particular dates should not perform any event(click event)when
u want to click on it.Actually What my intension is particular dates should behave like a labelcontrol...

for this you need to write an event with parameters object sender and system.web.ui.webcontrol.calender... args.....
here you can check your conditions like
if(e.day.date=1....)
e.day.enabled=false..
...
basic structure, not sure of the synatx hope this works

Guys i am having a problem wioth drop down list in data grid, there is horiziontal scroll with the grid when i scroll the grid down wards then the drop down list in the gird retain there position and do not move down wards with the other controls in grid such as text boxes, and the drop down lists comes in the header of the data grid, can any one let me know any solution about this , please reply ASAP, thankx in advance,

Hi,
We have suppose 10 aspx pages and a business class (containing business logic) and data access class.
The Business class and data access class each have multiple methods which accept more than 7-8 paramaters as input.
Now when we need to call any business class function from any aspx page which in turn will call the data access class for retrieving data, then how should be the structure of the code.
As we know we can define public properties and set property values and then instantiate an object of the class to actually call the method.
Another way is to directly pass the parameter values inline with the method call for all the methods defined in the called class.
Which approach is preferred according to OOP standards and which one to use when ? I am slightly confused regarding the OOP usage in ASP.NET domain.
Pls guide me on this.

Its nice to having different layer in the application. create a object of the class and set all varaibles by public properties and used them in function directly instead of passing them if they are not going to update in that context. If the method is going to used by many times and in different context then it is good to have method as static

Its very simple drag and drop the site map and edit its file i.e xml file by giving the title , path ..........

this is the error I am getting
LoginView1:Only one <configsections> element allowed per config file and if present must be the first child of the root <configuration> element
I am using the defaut web.config for AJAX site with Master pages and a SQL connection string. I have seen some brief post on AJAX/Master pages having problems, but nothing that seemed to fit my situation. any ideas?
