Hi all,
I wanted to find out what the best way to print user customized pages would be.
The user would customize :-
1. what size of print they want in centimetres. if less than normal A4 size it should then customize how many prints on one page
2. what images he wants on the page + their location on page.
3. Must also have the capability to print bar codes
I have already tried generating the page as HTML and printing it but thats not working out the best.
Please let me know...

hI can anybody tell me how can i make a copy of one worksheet (excel) in the same work book .. i tried worksheets.copy method .. but it copies all the work sheets .. can any body suggest an idea???

hard code ur Key to ur program and check with the input. if the input matches the Key u hardcoded into ur project, execute it or else just pop up a message telling wrong product key! Try again.

Just take the system time and check with the time u set in ur program. when both matches do so action.

in my application, user choice to save alert time. When user will saves the alert time, at that time i am storing the time in xml file.
now i want to show the alert at perticular time. here my application still runs hiddenly(showing as taskbar icon)
i need long running timer?
how to do this?

I have no experience w/ directx. So, i'm looking to learn. In particular, I want to take a 3D model of an object and display it on my app using directx. Also, I want to feed that model X,Y,Z values and have it rotate itself respectively.
Can somebody point me to an example or something that does something link this? Also, I don't know how to make my "model" either, i'd be happy if it was just a square. Do I create it in some 3d app and then load that file into directx?
For example, say I have a square model. I just want to show it in my C# win form and send it some Cartesian values X,Y,Z and have it rotate relative to some point.

I am doing a desktop application in C#. I want to change the appearance of the windows in the porject. It want to avoid the common windows appearance. I want to get a MAC like apperance. Can anyone please tell me an idea for achieving this in C#.

Your absolute best bet would be to use Avalon/WPF/.NET 3.0, a new framework ( still in beta ) that gives you a lot of control over how the UI looks.

Hi..
I get 5 int values
For instance, they will look like the below...
int a = 2006; //year
int b = 3; //month
int c = 5; //day
int d = 1; //hour
int e = 3; //min
int f = 2; //second
but I want to put them in DB looks like "20060305010302" which means..
year has to be 4 digit, month has to be 2digit, day has to be 2digit..and so on...
so if I get the month data number 5, then I have to be able to convert number to 05 (because the DB column character is set for "yyyy:MM:dd:HH:mm:ss".
can I do this in one shot?? I can't think of anything good...
what i'm thinking is that comparing the length and if the length is shorter than 2 then, put the "0" in front of the number.... -_-...

You can create a DateTime object and then use a Custom DateTime Format String.
For Example, this generates the output you want:
DateTime d = new DateTime (2006,3,5,1,3,2);
d.ToString ("yyyyMMddhhmmss");

Slight correction to the format string; "hh" gives hours in the range 1-12, use "HH" to get hours in the range 0-23:
