Hi, "paramSource" source is variable holding value to insert or update or anything... this code is just sample to under stand how you can write code for insert/update/delete and select using ado.net. You need to modify this code according to your application and logic. please do one thing, as you mention while you are debugging your code you always get default date. so again debug your application and check what is parameter value is set in your save method of DAL, please check that you are passing correct value to your store procedure to save it. and also check your store procedure that it is updating correct value or not?

Just casting is not enough for inline query, as list is object of C# and you are using it in your SQL server, so it will not understand it's list or any thing. so you need to pass any string with comma separation in WHERE ID IN (...) cause.

If you are hosting all the assets in different server then definitely scalability and performance is increased, i agree for that. But you are talking about storing it in different drive, like my application/website is hosted from C:\ drive and i am storing assets on d:\ drive on same server, then nothing will happens related to performance. if you goes for another separate assets server then its great thing to improve performance.

Text file has no property to set like line-spacing, so you need to achieve it manually by providing line break character (\r or \n) at the end of your line.

What code you have write in your service start method. I think that code is going to execute in long running process, that's why you got this error. also try to add some exception logging in your start and stop method, so it will log actual exception if any.

as your question inform that, you are using same css to both module, so if you change in css then it will affect to both the module.

so if you need to apply any specific change to particular module, just create a new css class and apply your desired css changes over there and use that class with your module, where you want that changes..

first of all check that your database is have that store procedure or not, if not then create that store procedure over it.

if you got any error then try to find out its solution, don't comment any line of code which will gives you error.

Store procedure will allocate, separate table space to each session, so if more then one user is calling the same procedure at the same time it will not affect the other. so please don't worry about it.

its all conflict will taken care by store procedure, it will allocate sap rate space to each user, so no one get data conflict, even one person is doping a table, it will not affect other running sql session, so don't worries
