Hi, it's done about de gridview (objectdatasource properties) but i did not done anything about "onselectedindexchanging event" can you explain more about dis last point cuze i don't have many skills on it.

Hi,
You have to just write code on selectedindex change event
I am sure you will be able to do that......

There is an event on Gridview selectedindex changing on that

You can add the method

Hi I have tried this :

protected void GridView1_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Metier_Taxi.Gestion_Utilisateurs Utilisateur = new Metier_Taxi.Gestion_Utilisateurs();

Utilisateur.Supprimer(Convert.ToInt64(GridView1.SelectedRow.Cells[1].Text));
}

GridView1.SelectedRow.Cells[1].Text is right if you have not used template......

If it is stil giving error please try this

Gridview.Rows[e.NewSelectedIndex].Cells[1].Text this might work
if you are not using any template in gridview

I created half of the project without using Ajax tools. Now my PM ask to add Ajax tools. How to add Ajax functions after half of the project is over?

Can anyone suggest?

All you need to do is change the web.config, so that it registers the necessary dlls. Make sure to install Ajax Extensions on your server and register the AjaxToolkit.dll.

I have done that recently, that is made a "bare" 2.0 project work with the Ajax extensions and the Ajax Toolkit. It's really simple, just look for web.config differences for bare 2.0 and Ajax with google.

Hi all,
This may be a naive question, but i am not able to understand.
I have a website in which i have used 2 classes written in different languages(C# and VB). They are stored in app_code as

Csharp
Class1.cs
Class2.cs
Vb
Class3.vb
Class4.vb

Now i have to create an object of a vb class in my C# class.
But the intellisense doen`t show up the vb class in my c# class file.
However it allows me to create an object of C# class in my other VB class.
How can i create an object of vb class in C# class????

I have a textbox with mode as multiline. It contains the string as follows:

txtCheck.Text = "APITX,ARWJB,ATICD,CANSM,COTBX,DATLI,DGKSI,DGKSP,ESAMP,GITAX,ILCRP,JITRH,JITRS,JITSH,JPNAA,JPNSX,MHKTD,MSGPX,MSHTD,NPMPP,PAMKX,PNSFX,PNSHX,POMDX,QIBSX,SAHKX,SASKX,SCHAU,SCHEW,SEMDX,SEURX,SGPNX,SGTLS,USIYX,USWEB,ZTEAX,ZTEBX,ZTECX,ZTEEX,ZZAFS,ZZAUT,ZZBUL,ZZCSK,ZZDEU,ZZESP,ZZEST,ZZFIN,ZZFRN,ZZGBR,ZZHUN,ZZIRL,ZZISR,ZZITL,ZZNET,ZZNOR,ZZSLK,ZZSWE";

Where txtcheck is the ID of MultiLine text box. The issue is, it is displaying correctly in IE, but not in Mozilla FireFox. In Firefox, it just displays one single line. Any idea what's happpening? Confused | :confused:

Please any help in this regard?

Probably the windows file system or the libraries built in to J#. There's plenty on the web about using the J# stuff in a dll from other languages.

you can use Windows Native Zip support. Just add WindowsBase.dll and use PackagePart to create Zip Files and also to extract them.

Or if you are not using .NET 3.5 you can use J# library to do this. I have both the code. If you want, I can send you both. Rose | [Rose]

Hi,

I am developing a web based application using asp.net.

there is a scenario in which my manager is asking me to do add ,modify , delete records in a single form.

but i am telling him to use 2 forms Insert.Aspx for inserting records.
and edit.aspx for editing and deleting.

which approach is better mine or my manager.

I will suggest you to go with this only, because there is no need to create unnecessary from edit and delete or update. You can do it in a single page itself.

And some times it is also based on requirement. But if there are small amounts of records and you want to insert delete and update, just do it in a single page. other wise you have to take care of lots of session and other staff while transferring data in between pages etc.
