If user is entering any dummy value before submitting the form, do you need to track that also. ? If so I think you need pretty big storage medium. Are you planning to store all these values in DB ?

Yes you need to do this to track details. Since your controls are custom written you have always a chance to write events on that. But honestly speaking, your requirement seems to be very big and tough to implement. If it is the case of tracking user visited pages, that will be easy. I found some articles here in CP which explains about tracking user visited pages.
