True, but that's the whole point of beta's. Test out features and repair bugs. Not to be a product that is done.

Hmm,
does a system with Pentium 4 3 Ghz Processor and 1 GB Ram count as low end system?
VS 2005 handles a lot of things hidden from the developer.
If any of these hidden things are changed, VS 2005 is veeeery fragile.
It is great when it runs.
I use databinding a lot and it hangs a lot.
Probably have to know how to use it.

Mostly I install beta software into a Virtual PC partition, unless it is higher level consumer software like MSN messenger or Windows Media player which I assume to be safer and install on my main box. (Hey, I like life with a little risk)

I almost never install beta software, but sometimes, just for the fun of it, I might.
Right I use Office 2007 Beta, and is really starting to like the new Outlook

Same here... if I'm curious enough.
Earlier this year I installed IE7 Beta2... only afterwards did I read somewhere that it can't be un-installed!

You sure choes a doosy of a beta to install. I am using Office 2007 Beta too but Outlook is noticeably beta software. More so than normal for MS.

I don't have any problems with it... I use it against an Exchange server, that might be why.

OK. We are using IMAP here and it is slow and crashes Outlook a few times a week.
Outlook 2007 is a good improvement though. Love the live search for one.
