Hi
I'm starting at my graphics project now. I'm going to make a 3D animated poster. It'll have flying Houses & People. I'm using OpenGL & 3DMax.
What should I be knowing for starting at that project? Lighting, texturing... hmm. Would you please tell me the most important stuff that I need?

Thanks a lot ... : ))

seriously? why take on a project that you have no clue how to do?

Start by reading a book on OpenGL.

Well we don't know what level of knowledge you have at the moment. Can you produce a basic 3D shape yet, e.g. cube, sphere etc? Assuming from your question (perhaps wrongly) that you are at the initial stage of your studies I would suggest buying a book or finding some good online tutorials from the OpenGL and 3DMax websites.

The fact you have to ask this in the broadest sense tells me you don't have clue what you're doing, and that your project will fail. If you're using OpenGL work through the NeHe tutorials or something, buy the blue and red books and work through them, then resume your pipe dream.
