how to print only chart excluding the Master Page contents?

Hi Friends!

I've an appln which prints the web page with charts. But the contents of Master Page is also printed as the web page is using Master Page and its must to use it.

Now my requirement is to print only chart in web page excluding the Master Page contents..is it possible? if so how..?!

Didn't I just answer this ? You need a popup with the chart, and no master page. Don't ask us to reply ASAP, you're getting your job done for you for free, you don't get to set a deadline.

Hey Graus, asap is jus formality..anyhow wont use hereafter..

And cant we print without using popup...I had the idea of using it but its alternate and wil use only when printing from web page is not possible...

You can print any web page. Trouble is, you print the whole page, so if you only want to print some of it, you need to print a NEW page.

Solution 2

Create a popup that shows the chart but not in the masterpage. That's the only way, create a popup that is only what you want to print and call window.print() in it.
