Wireless is very nice topics that you choosen. And why don't you do one thing ?. Try to integrate all Clubs avilable in your city and despatch informations,activities,facility of these clubs to users mobile. Like our mail news(flash news).

Problem: I need to create a Client/Server Application.
[Server] Winsock host, MS SQL 7/2000 connectivity. The server must accept multiple connections and return database query results in text/xml
help examples may have an access database.
[Client] Winsock Client, Convert text/xml data from server into recordset. These rescordset will be displayed on forms in an MDI environment on a Win32 platform
Current Status: I can create the above scenario in Visual Basic. I need to create it in Visaul C++ because I understand one has more control of winsock in C++.
I have tried to use VB-to-C++ converters this was no help
I have tries combining bits and pieces of samples from this site and the most successful was using NDK, DAO, ATL and Dialog based. Tried converting it to MDI then all hell broke lose.
Reason: I have and application developed in visual basic that uses the data environment connections, and reports using Seagate Crystal. This application run over a WAN/LAN (two cities) the connection is slow especially when trying to get a recordset

Hi all,
I was looking for a way to pass state information (session[]) back and forth between asp.net web applications and traditional asp. I found a few things other places, but nothing here (which is unusual). So I decided to "roll my own", so to speak, using sql server as the go-between. It's pretty elementary, only passing strings, but since everything's a variant in asp, I don't see that as too much of a disadvantage.
So: Any interest in seeing this thing in an article? or is there one here I missed? or am I the only poor soul still dealing with traditional asp interop?  Lemme know...if there's some interest, I'll write it up.

Is it possible to have an article which describes a simple application that does some XML processing on a pocket pc and can be called from a Python program.
Python allows you to write C/C++ modules and call them from Python (provided you write a few wrappers to go with it). Python can thus be used to glue together different C/C++ applications.

Hi, I would like to develop an application which includes a book viewer. I think it would be the best case if I could format my book using HTML and then use an HTML Viewer object to display it. Ofcourse I would like to interact with my viewer, i.e., to receive message whenever a word is double click, or to highlight some part of the book ... etc. Could anyone give me some hints on this problem: which object I should use and where to find the API of that object?
