I have yet to find anything that I need to do that I cannot do with Libre Office. almost the same as open office. I send files to people who use MS all the time.

Office 2010 here... same. Native "docx", "xlsx" and so on is a small advantage. 2003 is still "doc" and you need an add-on IIRC

At work we have 365 mandatory, at home no way I am going to jump in if I can avoid it.

running Office 2K on W10, except for Exchange, not sure I have used anything besides Word and Excel. Will got an error on installing, tell it to ignore.
And, as an extra bonus, Clippy!! Smile | :)

will not subscribe to anything MS. Thanks to customers, I don't have too - corporate IT license. Nothing 365 does is anything better than Office 97.

I still use Word 97 at home - it works fine, is compatible with all the documents I wrote over the last 25 years and still prints magnificently (when necessary - which isn't very often).

You can buy Office rather than subscribing to it. That is what I do.

AROSE, followed by TUNIC and GLYPH if there are no hits (I run in hard mode, so if I find a letter, I have to use it in all subsequent guesses)

That covers all vowels (plus Y) in "frequency order" in English words, plus the most common consonants. I do get a pretty good hit rate!

This selects 20 different letters leaving only 6 less frequent letters, possibly 5 as Q can be eliminated if U is not used.

I had a 99% success rate for many months due to one miss on a set of letters that could have been three or four words.

I use one word per week Smile | :)

Usually one with at least 2 vowels. In addition to Wordle's "hard mode", this adds another layer of difficulty, but I enjoy that.
