I myself found something on MSDN that I can get object of MSPRJ9.obl. And then I can create object MPP. But anybody knows is that Object Library is distributable.

This should work:
You have to create an instance of the other form before you can change properties on it.
Dim otherForm As New Form2()
otherForm.Show()
otherForm.TextBox1.Text = "hello"

My previous really gives a ones compliment -- not really what you asked for. In order to perform a twos compliment I prsonaklly would revert to tyhe interoperability of the .NET languages and write it in C++, then like it to Visual Basic.
If you decide to try that, start a Visual C++ .NET Class library. then add the following code to the file that holds the name you gave the library, compile and link to it.
NOTE that the code given works only with 32-bit integers, a similar thing sould be done for larger or smaller integers.

I was trying to install a program onto another computer, but the setup was aborted because the target computer did not have the .NET framework.
During deployment, there was a warning that said
"WARNING: This setup does not contain the .NET Framework which must be installed on the target machine by running dotnetfx.exe before this setup will install. You can find dotnetfx.exe on the Visual Studio .NET 'Windows Components Update' media. Dotnetfx.exe can be redistributed with your setup."
I've located that dotnetfx.exe on the component CD, but DOES ANY COMPUTER THAT I WISH TO INSTALL MY APPLICATION REQUIRE THE INSTALLATION OF THE .NET FRAMEWORK?
If so, what is the proper procedure on including that file into my setup?
also, is there anyway around installing the .Net Framework.

Ya, any PC you want to run an application you've written in .NET needs to have the DotNET framework installed. PC's that have Windows XP or Windows 2003 will have the framework already installed.
I'm not sure how to detect if the person has the .NET framework installed so I can't help you with that.

Windows XP doesn't have the framework by default. Allegedly it will find its way into an upcoming service pack. Not sure about 2003 though, you may be right.

Hello all
I want to write a VB Macro that will forward a message that I have selected. For all intent and purposes I am trying to emulate the Forward button.
I know that if I code this
Set myForward = myFolder.Items(1).Forward
Then it will forward the first message in my inbox (assumign that my inbox is the folder that it has been sent to)
Is there a way to change it so that it forwards the messge I select, and not simply the first message. I'm confused as how to get the selection?
Anybody know anything abotu VBA and outlook?

When running our project, a login screen pops up before the system can be used. We want to assign the <enter> key to the OK button, and the escape key to the Cancel button.

Be careful how you use the terminology. There is no such thing as a "Default Property" in the .NET Framework.
What you are looking for is in the Form Properties. Click on the Form you are using to get the UserName and Password. Under the Misc section in the Properties window you will find AcceptButton and CancelButton. You can assign which button does what and the form will automatically process the ENTER and ESC keys as Accept/OK and Cancel.
Now, to get the OK button to LOOK like a Default button you have to call the NotifyDefault method on the button, probably in the Form's Load event, like this:

This will force the button to draw itself with the thicker border of the default button.

If you are using only Windows XP based machines, you can use IMAPI, which is a very easy way for VB programmers, because it's avaliable as a bunch of COM components.
But if you want broader OS scope, you'll need to use Nero's APIs.

We created a shared variable in the class, but we do not know how to declare the class in the different forms!
|

The class has to be in the same the project, you don't need to declare it. If the class is only visible in a different name space, then you need to access it via MyNameSpace.MyClassName.MyVariableName.
If multiple threads are accessing this variable, make sure thread-safety.
