I just did something similar! I sold everything and bought 733048 lottery tickets. I expect to be a multi-millionaire by Wednesday night, but I'll probably parlay all of the winnings into next week's lottery and be even richer!

Tulips were in a bubble; demand was already saturated while supplies kept growing. In the case of BC, it is not yet even a mainstream thing - the demand may actually grow if it can be used in more places to pay for something.
Meaning it has quite some room to grow in the current conditions. With all the fiat-currencies devaluing over time, crypto-currencies don't have an inflation-target, and is hence a theoretical better store of value.
