I agree with Sean - there's no spam. 
There's a link to another article on his blog, which is perfectly understandable in a "technical blog" post.
There's a link to an article on the "Frontiers in Human Neuroscience" journal, which doesn't appear to be trying to sell me anything.
And other than that, the only links are to Wikipedia and Twitter.

At the time I reported it, the profile contained description for escort services. Now it seems that the text is gone but for some reason there are a few author points 
Perhaps @sean-ewington can see the history of the profile?

I can't, but I did see something else naughty they did.
Can we please hold off on these reports for a little while? We just killed two new members who were false positives. I don't think we can go through this manually. I think we need to either stop them at the door, or flag extremely specific things in an automated way.

Did reporting in moderation does not count anymore?

Don't know, to be honest - I always open the user link, hit the "Dump the trash" button in the moderation queue, then report the user via his profile page. It is possible I forgot to hit the userpage report button this time ... 
Would be good to know if a "dump the trash" click adds a "spammer" kick to the user, but that would require Hamster Knowledge since the only way I know of to find the "reports count" of a user is to report him and see what the number is.
It would be handy to have a way to see the "kick the bugger" count, particularly when moderating messages or articles as past behaviour is generally relevant to present activities.
