Most of those points are from re-tagging etc.
There is another member (I really wish I could remember who it was) that just edits questions or more to the point, just re-tags them, and gathers points that way.
It does seem quite a lot of points inside 2 years though. The hamsters have been alerted

Did you find the source which he plagiarized?
Not that I'd think it's particularly likely but the "Hide Copy Code"-bits could come from copy-pasting his own code from the preview or something like that.
