Only writing with right in my use. For that reason I use know also the mouse right.

I'm mostly right handed but do some things left handed. Like shooting a rifle, I kept getting told I need to put it on my right shoulder. Nope couldn't do that like you are supposed to do when right handed. I shoot fine left handed fine  Lots of other little things I catch myself using my left hand for... But as far as writing and have the most strength I'm right handed.

Have you done the test for dominant eye? Bet your left eye is dominant. Hold up your hands making a circle and look through it with both eye open. Then close one eye and then the other. The view with one eye will be mostly just the same as when you were using both, that is your dominant eye.

Never really thought about that. Might right eye is my lazy eye. Left eye is 20/20, right is bad. So I use left eye for things like shooting and such.

You remind me of an eye doctor I had as a kid. He told me left-handed myopic people were going to take over the world. The fact that we were both left-handed and myopic may have had something to do with it.

I've been led to understand that we're actually born left handed. It's only because we're told in school (or by parents) to write with our right hands, that most people turn out right-handed.
And frankly, when it comes to hand-writing (at least in the US and other places with an LTR reading order language,) it makes sense to use one's right hand. You don't smudge your writing that way.
I'm sure in parts of the world with RTL reading order (Japan, for example) probably have more left-handed people than right.

Actually I am ambidextrous. When I was a kid my elder brother bet me I couldn't write my name using my left hand (I was definitely right-handed back then), so I practiced writing with my left hand until I could use both hands to write with (I tried simultaneous writing with both hands but could only do it if writing the same text - handy for doing lines at school).
Since then I have had to do various things using either hand, tech support for a while using a left-handed person's mouse on their machine, etc. and found no problem.
Learning to drive on the wrong side of the road when I moved to the US (the right side instead the of the correct, left side as a civilized country should). Using the wrong hand for gear changing caused bashed knuckles for a while until I got used to it.

I was about seven years old and practiced an hour each day for maybe two weeks. Cursive back then, block capitals these days after many, many years of writing FORTRAN on coding sheets! I have Carpal Tunnel on my right hand (most common mouse usage, probably) so when I write at all (hardly ever these days), I use my left hand mostly.

I'm right-handed, but found out when I was a kid that I naturally write in mirror writing with the left hand, for whenever I pretend that I'm Leonardo.

OK, wow. WHY have I never tried this before? I just discovered that I can do it too! The penmanship is sloppy (weak musculature), but the brain activity is almost automatic! I don't have to think about flipping the letters, they just come out naturally mirrored when I try it! (Except, for some reason, I had difficulty with the letter "a". But as soon as I stopped trying to force it, it just worked.)
Wow! What a perfectly useless but totally cool new trick!

my right side is so dominant, that whenever I have problems with my right hand, it really turns my living into a big mess beeing pushed to do anything with the left one.
This includes moving the mouse which is so inaccurate that it's better not to do it at all.
