The user might have deleted his message after he posted it. But it does not look abusive to me.

Might be due to caching. Also, sometimes a message does not immediately appear, when it needs to go through message moderation because CP's filter saw it as spam/abusive. If it's not spam/abusive, the Protectors can approve it.

Normal users cannot see who downvoted; sometimes random downvotes like this happen. Not very much to do about it, but also not very harmful.

This message[^] contains an un-linked URL for a broken site - the default page is completely blank. The message reads like site-driving spam.
His other two messages, both in the same thread, sound slightly dodgy, but don't appear to contain any links.

This[^] person has created his account just to downvote other articles.
By looking into his comments, I suspect, it is his secondary account which he uses only to downvote others. Although some of his message make sense. He might not be using his primary account for this purpose fearing about poor reply and reputation points. (In my opinion)
Should we call him spammer too?

Spam=Advertising. There are no ads,so not a spammer.
So far, it looks like there is nothing to report as only 9 messages from him. I am having close eye on him now.

Two and a half years ago, this user[^] was kicked off the site for asking about writing a virus. After promising not to ask again[^], Chris reinstated his account.

Maybe I'm being paranoid, but writing software which turns off Windows Updates, Windows Firewall, and all Action Centre messages with one click sounds suspiciously like malware to me.

Hi,
An article that was highlighted in the code project newsletter two months ago, and which has become quite popular has suddenly disappeared in a puff of smoke without a trace as far as I can see.
Any take on this? I know that one should not depend on anything being forever but this is ridiculous
