I really doubt that. In VS 2013 they cut part of the libraries coming with MFC with the instalation and I believe they are starting to give up on the idea that the Win Applications should be written in c++ with MFC. After all they have their little 'cute' c# for the job.
You can notice small things like for example refactor function for c# but it's not supported for c++ and such small signs that they give their favorite child c# more time than any other.
On the other hand who does actually want to do something with CLictCtrl, where you cannot add an icon on the second column if its not in the first. Come on its not the 90ties.

Note : I am talking about the MBCS portion of the MFC library.
