Unfortunately, an elegant sufficiency of alcohol tends to encrypt everything I say (and quite a lot of what I do as well...)

..I wanted to say, that I would never ever save the Password, I would infact try to relogin each time session should be created.
Sensitive data and information must be saved and should never be left anywhere. Encryption can be reversed, and papers can be joined together like a puzzle.

It depends.. I mean, sometimes the same policies to enforce the security and by exposure security breaches. If the policy says: to change twice a month the password, put at least one upper char, at least one lower char, at least one number, at least one punctuation sign, at least one prime number lower than 500, cannot be related to your or your wife or relatives name, last name, date of birth, position, address, information leaked in the internet.. and different to the previous 20 passwords...
Eventually, you will forgot the shifting passwords. Therefore, if you have to manage those policies for 20 servers, databases, and systems; finally you will put the password in some place.
I agree that the password should be just in your mind, but also I am against the extreme hard password policies, due they are useless.
It would be better put a poem as a password, or a quote. It is very good explained by XKCD:

Some of these are context sensitive, as well, the version for Mrs. Wife's account and mine might have the same hint but it has different meaning.
I also lie a lot, but the login interfaces tend to believe my honest looks.
