Whats the weather like down your way? Its done nothing but rain in Rocklin ever since I got here, as well as throw up a tornado. Today its as bleak as Slough in January out there! I mean, Slough for Christs sake! Holy sh*t!

I grew up with biltong and now that I'm in the US, I really miss it. Jerky is just not the same. Jerky is sliced thinner and is more brittle (less chewy) than biltong. Jerky also tends to be sweeter. We've been trying to perfect making our own biltong. We've just done a batch of deer biltong and it came out really nice.

I usually prefer my biltong very dry and somewhat brittle, so I wouldn't mind that in jerky. The sweetness, on the other hand, might be a bit weird. I understand jerky is also often smoked. I assume that would be very prominent in the taste?

ach, Biltong is baie lekker man.
Speaking as a ex SA resident (1970-1975) who now lives in USA/Chicago, I would say biltong is better. I remember getting biltong to go hiking or camping, and it would last a good long time. Jerky is similar enough, a reasonable substitute but thinner cut generally and not as flavourful.

Jerky is pretty good, not as dry and tough as biltong, and thinner cut, and often smoked. Its nice stuff..

Jerky tends to be drier, thinner and more leathery than biltong... at least that's my experience here in Australia.
I used to work with a South African bloke who would make me biltong... mmmmmm.... biiiiiiiiiiiltonnnnnnnnnnng...

I totally understand that sentiment. I've decided to undertake a project such that I can code everything in the native language (using internal/external DSL's where appropriate) to translate the code / meta-code to HTML, Javascript, etc. What I want as the end result is a library of common solutions to current requirements that can grow as new requirements are encountered. I'm sick of writing code, HTML, and Javascript, most of which is re-invented for every new web-app. Not to mention that myriad of half-baked j-blah-blah-blah libraries out there, each of which does more-or-less the same thing, but differently. Anyways, I ramble...

I'm still kicking some ideas around.
My goal is to be out of it in 4 years.
I'm giving myself time to pay off bills, go to school, ect.

Do some Googleing and you will find that some people not just wasting their times to play that game but actually wrote code to solve it...

I am not wasting time on it. It is once in a while refresher for me. I either do that or play a game of online pool.

The mobile version has undo, limited to 2 per game. I'm assuming that it was added to deal with poor swipes across the screen, since I've done it a couple times.
That said, the purist in me does its best to resist using them unless it was an honest mistake in moving the tiles.
