Jerky tends to be drier, thinner and more leathery than biltong... at least that's my experience here in Australia.

The 4096 tile is black with white letters.
I had 58,000 points and quit - I was too tired.
Haven't played since.

Funny I just made to 2048 and 1024 tiles this afternoon. Then, one bad key press and it was over.

I was thinking that last night - an undo would be a miracle.

I totally understand that sentiment. I've decided to undertake a project such that I can code everything in the native language (using internal/external DSL's where appropriate) to translate the code / meta-code to HTML, Javascript, etc. What I want as the end result is a library of common solutions to current requirements that can grow as new requirements are encountered. I'm sick of writing code, HTML, and Javascript, most of which is re-invented for every new web-app. Not to mention that myriad of half-baked j-blah-blah-blah libraries out there, each of which does more-or-less the same thing, but differently. Anyways, I ramble...

Do some Googleing and you will find that some people not just wasting their times to play that game but actually wrote code to solve it...

I am not wasting time on it. It is once in a while refresher for me. I either do that or play a game of online pool.

The mobile version has undo, limited to 2 per game. I'm assuming that it was added to deal with poor swipes across the screen, since I've done it a couple times.
That said, the purist in me does its best to resist using them unless it was an honest mistake in moving the tiles.

That's all it takes.
What I hate worse is when you get a '2' tile down in a corner where you don't want it.
No way to get that little devil out of there and the whole thing is screwed.

8192 is white with black letters. I have found a pattern, but even with that key combination, the 16384 is too long to obtain.

What if you built it up with 4 tiles of 4096 instead of a long string of numbers?

I totally agree. I REALLY don't understand how it has become so darn popular. It's unintuitive, user-unfriendly and even buggy...
Note: If you pronounce it in French, the name couldn't be more appropriate! 
But because it's the hottest thing since Salma Hayek, management insists that we used it.

It is popular because the database follows you around so you can work from home, and on site without connecting back to base. You can check in stuff whenever and wherever. At the end of the day, you still have to merge it with the "master" even though there is no official "master".
Yes - I like SVN and I'm sticking to it. I just get a mini-repository when I go off site.

Oh dear, we're supposed to be migrating to this at work. I've used the command line tool & had assumed it would get easier when I got some GUI or other.
