No - the supports round the edges and down the center do that: the main "roof" is just a thin sheet.
And as to "How can teeth make a £220 worth the damage" that's easy - have you had any re-spray work done recently? £220 is cheap!

Lets suppose that the car falls from some height in this case that thin sheet will enter your skull literally. They have be solid. If the car flips the roof and the metal cage has to support the weigh of the whole car + the passengers or it becomes interesting.

I'm asking this because this[^] article shows up as featured article when the filter is set to 'Architect'. Apparently, it's not a great article as you can see there, just a bunch of code and a couple of incomplete paragraphs. And it has got only 3 votes.
