That reminds me that the SatNav in my Android phone gets really excited in some parts of Dundee. While directing me along Cupar Angus Road it seemed to have multiple-orgasms.

I just found a new feature in IE 11...Tools/Sun Java Console. Crashes the tab on this laptop. I found this while troubleshooting a remote desktop solution we just subscribed to. The test run, launched from an email link crashes IE...works fine in Chrome, but I was told that is not an acceptable workaround as almost all of our customers are IE. I am still not sure what is causing the problem, but the behavior is the same as trying to load the Java Console.

Nothing would surprise me, the level of suckage is amazing. And of course with IE you get the marvelous, unsurpassed, best thing since sliced bread Bing...nah I won't go there IE is enough for one day.

Indeed! After being a die-hard IE supporter for years, I finally switched to Chrome. While I'm sure it has its share of bugs, I haven't seen any yet.

I installed Chrome the other day still kicking the tires. There's a lot I like about it and there are some things I don't. Trying to decide if I want to pitch it or pin it?

I've actually gotten to the point where I have three browsers on my computers... FF, Chrome, and IE. Chrome is my everyday browser, but every now and then I resort to one of the other two if some site either requires it or doesn't work well in Chrome. Chrome is usually the fastest at most things though... FF got really slow for a while there and that drove me away from it (although I believe they've fixed some of those issues).

I have a job where I have to have IE, FF, Chrome and Safari all installed on my machine to test the pages we develop. I like IE since version 9, Safari is OK, FF is annoying but I use Chrome all day for my own browsing - it rarely breaks and is compatible with most sites I go to.
I work, part of the time, on maintaining a web-based HTML editor that people use for on-line articles and so on - I have added things like table designers, various kinds of built-in links and just recently embedding videos of various types. Because of this I have become very aware of all the little quirks and various workarounds necessary for the various browsers and none of them is without sin, however, Chrome, Safari and IE9+ give me the least problems (in that order) so I tnd to try and get things to work on FF first because if I can get that to work then the others will usually be a breeze!
IE8- was terrible but, based on the work I have been doing, IE9+ is actually pretty usable and stable - I haven't had any crashes so far, I don't know what you guys have been doing to it - I hit all the browsers pretty hard. Are you sure you are not just giving IE9+ a bad rap because of historic horribleness from IE8-?

The problem for me is that the previous versions have been so bad, and done such nasty things (ActiveX, anyone?) that for me to switch it is has be better than Chrome in every way immediately on first run - and it isn't. It's annoying slow to start, it wastes screen real estate, it looks "clumsy" (compare the page tabs and you'll see what I mean).
For me to switch back, it'd have to start instantly, make the buttons a sensible size, and look better than chrome does.
And bear in mind, I run Chrome as my main, but I also regularly use FF and IE for testing. But I wouldn't stick with either of the last two...

Chrome does really seem fast and yes FF has gone through a lot of phases but it is so versatile and I've got it set up just the way I like it so switching will be a pain because Chrome doesn't have a couple of the add-ins I use so will either learn to live without or...?

FF is definitely the most versatile... I spent A LOT of time on FF and resisted changing but now I hardly miss it (still use it for certain things).

I used to think FF was the do it all browser but I'm coming to the opinion that I need more than one browser and if I can get the time to dink with Chrome again I think it might do. It dang sure ain't going to be IE.

I use IE as my main browser since version 9. I don't have any problems with FF except that it is a little resource hog, memory wise (see here), and I'm not so happy with its startup time. I never used Chrome, simply because I dislike stuff from Google.

It's pretty awesome, i'm sure every kid (even the over-sized ones on here) would love one for Christmas.
I like mine but to be honest and at the risk of starting a flame war i prefer my Xbox One just because of the controller and dashboard but my friends (some ladies if you choose to believe that) with smaller hands prefer the PS controller because they can reach the buttons easier so I'm sure your kids will love it.
Have you thought about which games to pair with that baby?

I have a PS and even I prefer the XBox controller... but I thought the PS3 gave you a bigger deal for the buck compared to the Xbox360. Not sure if that's still the case but it was back then, either way, they both perform pretty darn well. Gaming has come such a long way in my lifetime!

At the end of they day they are both insanely impressive systems and wont let you down.
