There is something wrong with the LINQ discussion forum.
When I click Disussions / General programming / LINQ, I see a crosslinked post in the discussion named "Data check in query". Also the list of discussions seems to be incomplete and quite short. With following link I can see much more discussions: http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4711722/Re-include-nested-objects-property.aspx[^]
Can you confirm this, or is it just my browsing settings? I use IE10 and Firefox 18.0, with same results

Check the Date filter. Set it to "all" and you'll see all messages.
Not sure what you mean by a crosslinked post.

The date filter works as you wrote, I didn't notice this.
By cross-linked I mean that I see an apparently unrelated reply for the "Data check in query" post, named "Re: Include nested object's property?". When I display the thread for that reply, it shows the correct thread. This is what I see:
"Question Data check" in query vkEE 18-Nov-13 21:27
"Re: Data check in query" ahmed zahmed 18-Nov-13 23:14
"Re: include nested object's property?" ewohlman 4-Sep-13 15:39
"Re: include nested object's property? [modified]" Gabriel Szabo 29-Nov-13 11:58

I just noticed a problem with the site search. The predefined filter checkboxes for the document tipe (Articles, Technical Blogs, etc.) aren't working the way one (or I  ) would expect them to do. To deselect one of these I have to click them twice. (each click causing a full page reload)
Browser: Google Chrome (Version 31.0.1650.57 m)
These are the steps where I can replicate the problem:
1. Open the search page: http://www.codeproject.com/search.aspx[^]
2. Select a checkbox on the left side (e.g. "Tips & Tricks")
2.a. Page reloads with the checkbox checked. (Url in address bar: http://www.codeproject.com/search.aspx?doctypeid=3)
3. Deselect the checkbox again
3.a Page reloads with the checkbox still checked. (Url in address bar: http://www.codeproject.com/search.aspx?doctypeid=3)
4. Deselect the checkbox again
4.a Page reloads with the checkbox unchecked (Url in address bar: http://www.codeproject.com/search.aspx[^])
Usually not so much a problem as "Everything" is checked and you can check the other values just fine.
But it's a bit of a nuisance when you search from the home page and the following tags get preselected: Articles, Technical Blogs, Tips & Tricks, Reference Articles, Videos, Training Courses, Research Library. And you have to click on each checkbox twice to make them disappear, resulting in more than 10 full page refreshes.

Not a good idea.!!! because it will take us very loaded + social networking stuff then a professional & programming related chat discussion.!!!
I could support it only when it's allow for programming related chat only.( and that is already done by quick answer forum. )

This has been suggested a number of times and always rejected by the majority of us. One of the reasons we like this forum is because we are protected from being drawn into personal chats.

Since we regularly get Java questions in the JavaScript forum, would it make sense to rename the JavaScript forum to ECMAScript[^]?

I understand the correctness of the naming but who, these days, actually refers to it as ECMAScript? It's JavaScript. Actually I'd go as far to say it's progressed to Javascript.
We need to simply clean out the Java questions.

I was browsing code project from my pc and i hit the mobile link below with fluid design, and the website design got corrupted.I think that the mobile link should be shown only when browsing from mobile.

I disagree - particularly with a tablet, it can sometimes be advantageous to switch between the two. The idea of the Mobile version is that it's a lot smaller (and thus faster/cheaper to load) and a lot easier to read. Sometimes, that is an advantage.
