Don't want to compare my situation with yours but starting next August I think I am just going to take off for six months and see what may come of it. Maybe finish some ventures, who knows. Regardless of the way it turns out for me ... good luck for you. Sometimes small companies can be harder than larger ones.

A lot of programming is going mobile now so I have been working with JDeveloper.

Yeah, I think so, a good family move, too. I got a couple of contracts on the way, too, which was nice. A tester just contacted me to wish me all the best. She was the only one who did, so that's nice.

Ultimately, the wireless internet situation made me make a call. If things were better overall, I'd have hired an office. As it stood, not being able to stand still, b/c of Telstra, is the reason I had to move one way or the other. The situation overall is why I moved in the direction I did.

Hello,
I would like to build up a large collection of sample files for testing purposes and nothing is better than real data that is out there. So what I was thinking is a program to go out on the internet like a webcrawler but just look for files that are linked for download on the internet and download these into an output folder. Would like files of any type but okay aso if specifying types like pdf, doc, xls, docx, ppt, txt, etc.
Does something like this already exist? I would not like to recreate the wheel if someone already has something that does this.

I suspect that a very large number of the files you "find" will not be Safe For Work...
