After realizing my second previous message was a question, I clicked edit to change it and the general icon appeared as default. That should not be. The same icon should remain until modified by the poster. Really like it. But I'm having now a bit of a problem with new notifications. If you try to open it in new tab then yes it redirects to the page you mentioned. However, it would be nice if for example a new tab would be easy to open based on the link; For example, if I need to write an answer. Also if you try to click the green 'ok' button on the right side of the notification, it marks the notification as read, but at the same time it navigates to the url I mentioned.
