Something bad happened
We're not sure what, but we have a few guesses.
Problem: Access to the path 'Root\appsettings.config' is denied.

I just kicked all the servers as part of an update and that happens occasionally. It's an old error that we've tried everything under the sun to work around (yes, especially the bleeding obvious...) but after a meeting yesterday we may have another potential solution. We'll find out in a few days.
An odd, harmless, but extremely annoying (and impossible to replicate on demand) bug.

Those guys[^] have posted a lot(Spam Alternate Tip/Tricks).
If a member's(spammer) Tip/Trick(spam)  is in pending(in moderation queue) then restrict him to post another Tip/Trick(spam). The above guys posted almost 10+ Tip/Tricks(spam)
And please Permanently delete spams[^]

Inconveniencing legitimate members to solve a (hitherto) rare problem is not the solution. I can't think of anything more frustrating than a new member signing up and looking forward to posting their top-10 tips only get a message "Sorry - 1 at a time".
You guys get onto spam very, very well. What I need to do is remove the deleted spams from your view. We had them there so you could undelete something you've deleted, but I don't see that applies to things you've closed due to spam. A reasonably simple fix.

In Chrome, when I used quote selected text option, it adds line break in the selected text. Not sure if it is already a part of existing bug list.

The bug still exists, even in 15
For example if I select the 'Chrome' in your message above and hit Quote Selected Text, I get the selected text as below entered in my reply;

Only a minor bug, as it affects only the message displayed during the reply to process, never the less, it is still a bug

I was messing about with the javascript in the debugger console and manage to post a message with 2 random text selections!

When you say "Selected text" you mean the original text that you are selecting, right? I'm now seeing it too in Chrome 15.

Could it be possible to hide or collapse (by default) the deleted or closed alternatives for tips.
For example this tip: Whats My IP Address ?[^] has quite a few deleted alternatives and IMO fetching them is unnecessary unless the user specifies that he/she really wants to see them.

The number of views on tips/tricks aren't being displayed on the My Articles page. This happened at the same time the number of views disappear from the articles, and while I don't have any, you guys should probably check the Blog Entries page to see if the number of views was removed there as well.

Tips and tricks don't show page views because, currently, tips and alternate tips are displayed on the same page so "views" is a slightly misleading figure. This will change. They are shown for blogs.

0) They used to be there. Their current absence somewhat diminishes CPAM's utility (not critically so, but, well, you know...)
1) I've always wondered why alternates can't receive a view count from the day they're posted. It seems to me that it would be a simple matter to have the code increment view counts for alternates that are associated with the original tip being viewed. Of course, I have no idea how the code is architected, so my input is most likely meaningless in this regard.
2) I'm afraid I'm going to have to interdict bacon shipments to Codeproject offices until this situation is rectified. Sure, you may laugh about that threat, but I think you know in your heart of hearts that if ANYBODY here on CodeProject can follow through with it, it's me.
