Still single at the moment, that's one tax I couldn't afford so... 
(of course since I'm changing jobs soon and that comes with a major pay raise I won't be able to use that excuse anymore  )

As a contractor my priorities are very different to when I was a permie, I think it would have been useful to see the trend split by this.

Personally I would feel a failure if I had more than 5 years under my belt and was still a contractor. At some point you have to get a full time job or start your own company or the stress of contracting will surely kill you.

Money comes first. On top of that the contacts I make at that time. Need an opportunity to make some influences with the decisions, and finally the freedom, may be work from home.
