Enjoying PLINQ[^], didn't use the Memory Mapped File-wrapper[^], didn't try the BigInt[^]. Aw, the way you abbreviated 'subject' reminds me of Lazy(Of Subject)[^]. Better support for multithreading, doesn't hickup on garbage-collection.
Gives the impression that it has enough new goodies to keep us happy, for a while

My impression of .Net...
Wife asks for a Knife. I hand her the knife.

Wife is annoyed.
Wife asks for some help.... I ignore her.

Google "negotiates" with me on wife's behalf and passes on my help.
Wife constructs a half assed pen from her pencil and ink, and moans about
why I couldn't just give her a damn pen in the first place.
Wife divorces me and marries a new version of me.
I still don't do pens, but when you ask for help, I'm better at telling you I don't.

the scenario is that the label is the detail to b used in another page, I want that when I click the button to redirect to the other page with the label text property being accessed

Would it EVER be necessary to declare your own delegate with the Func<t1... t16,="" tresult=""> and Action<t1... t16="">?
And really, who needs 16 parameters?

To be honest, I think it is a little weird that a delegate of type MyActionInt, with receives a single int and returns void can't be used when an Action<int> is required.
I think the other delegate types are useful for the easier names, but I really think that .Net could've handled it better.

I don't think that sounds so weird. MyActionInt and Action<int> only have the Delegate type in common, but the Delegate type knows nothing of any parameters or Generics (which can't be converted at all). So how could it convert stuff it has no knowledge of?

I mean this:
If I create a method X(int value).
I can set
MyActionEvent += X;
And GenericActionEvent += X;
So, why not pass a MyActionInt to an Action<int> ?
You can say the type does not know anything about the parameters, but that's what I consider wrong in delegate design. Not that such opinion will change anything.

Does anyone know of a way to read a IO stream from the .net adobe pdf viewer control.
I am trying to extract entered text from a pdf.
I realize I could do this from a pdf file however I would much prefer to do it from the viewer in memory.

I have a DataGridView that I bind to a DataTable which is obtained by querying my database. The context for this DataGridView can change, and when that happens I re-run the query, and bind a new DataTable to the DataGridView
I also handle the CellFormatting event to highlight certain values.
What I have discovered is that the CellFormating event fires (one time with e.RowIndex == 0 and e.ColumnIndex == 0) when binding to an empty table, but only when the DataGridView was previously bound to a DataTable that has rows.
This seems like a bug to me. Any thoughts?
