try string.Replace() (One of its overloads, probably the char one is what you seek.)

But how to replace two or more characters like for example if i find double quote or single quote, i have to replace different things.
if double quote is found..

str.replace("\"","doublequote");
str.replace("'","singlequote");

but is there any way i can have just one replace method but does these both things at once?

You can run the replace again on the replace result, like this:

str.replace("\"","doublequote").replace("'","singlequote");

You could make your own method to do so, also:

public static string QuoteEscape(string value)
{
    return value.Replace("\"", "doublequote").Replace("'", "singlequote");
}

actually at first i was looking for only one string replace thing and i found by myself. so i changed it to "Answered Found already" but later again I was trying to replace two different strings replacement with two other values and so it just continued. But my both problems are solved .

i have table Workers that contain ID,Fname,W_PIC (W_PIC contain the picture)

when i press row in my datagrid how to show the picture in image control

that i has in my web-form ?

(the picture in the database is not a link to picture - its binary array)

hi,

I am required to make some enhancements to existing UI of my web app VS2005.

It requires me to develop/design MSDN style re-sizable split panes (with treeView on LHS for navigation). see the demo url of msdn library is http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms123401.aspx.has anyone worked on something similar ? OR can anyone let me know how to proceed .. will be great help.

Does your web application use frames or divs? The solution really differs in both cases.

There's a very handy jQuery splitter[^] plugin that you might want to check out.

I was searching a sample code for twitter like login and at last i found also. it works fine in FireFox but when it runs in IE then alignment is not ok and also login image is not showing correctly. here is the url http://aext.net/example/twitterlogin/#. please check this in IE and tell me which area i need to rectigy in css as a result it will consistent in all browser... Please help me with css.

I want an image carousel similar to Amazon's product carousel in asp.net. when i will click on next or prev button the list of images will load from server after ajax call. if anyone knows about somethings similar then please let me know.
