You problem is not clear to me. What do you mean by "Direct to page" ? You want page to automatic scroll to particular policy description ?

Button Click Event Dosen't work inside TabContainer

Hi,

I have a TabContainer on my page that has 4 TabPanel,
i've placed in each TabPanel a button with a click event,
but only in the first TabPanel the event is fired.

Note, also if i placed a button outside the TabPanel the event
isn't working.

Can someone please help me?

Solved!!!

I had a RequiredFieldValidator at the first tab
and when i pressed a button inside a diffrent tab the code-

if (!Page.IsValid)
return;

stopped the event.

To solved it i needed to give a validationGroup to the button in the first tab. D'Oh! | :doh:

Hello All ,

I have used a CalendarExtender in my page with textboxes. When I press enter key in another textbox, calendar's popup is appearing.

I have used defaultbutton attribute in form tag and tried keeping my button id as defalut button but this is also not working.

Please help me out in same..

You have described what is happening but where is your question?
You don't want calendar to pop up when Enter key is pressed? Or something else?

I may not be correct, but let me tell you my views on the issue.

When enter key is pressed from a TextBox, it posts back the page. This is the default behavior of a TextBox.
I somehow think this is causing the issue.

For a workaround, add the following code in the page load.

TextBox1.Attributes.Add("onkeydown", "return (event.keyCode!=13);");

TextBox1 is the id of the textbox which causes calendar pop up when enter key is pressed.

I say this again, my answer may not be correct and is just my view about the issue. I will wait to hear from people here.

Edit: changed code to suit better for OP's requirement.

But its not about one textbox, whenever enter key is hit on any the the text box present on that page, is resulting pop up to appear..

You have the issue and the solution.
So, write a function which will disable this behavior for all textboxes in the page.

I made method using all text box fields, setting their attribute,calling from page load. But now when I use press enter key , control is moving from 1st text box to 2 nd, 2nd to 3 rd, and once reaching to the last text box, hitting enter key is taking control to my search button placed next to the last text box.

Read "How to get answers..." at the top of this forum. Pick the most appropriate forum and use it. Since this question is clearly an ASP.NET question you should not have posted it to .NET Framework and C#

Since you are using 3rd party hosted webservice, you need to find the one that suits you. Words like 'perfect' and 'complete' should be defined by you here.

Get more webservices that does the same, and pick the one that is useful. Might be you can use multiple ones, have Yahoo has default and if you don't find your city in it then try other one.

You have not explained anything on what you were trying to do. Posting the error isn't enough. There can be multiple reasons for the same.

Further, it's already quite confusing about the error as you say it's browser dependant and you didn't said anything related to Javascript error here.
