I think this has already been raised before, but I'll mention it again in case I'm wrong:
A lot of times, I see that a QA is marked as edited by someone, but when I check the revision history, there is no difference between the original post and the revision.
Here's an example: http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/84985/How-to-send-text-messages-to-a-phone.aspx[^]
Compare the original post to the revision by Smithers-Jones. Marked as a minor edit - true, but the comparator doesn't show any difference.
Not to point fingers at any, but isn't that a cheap way of collecting editor's points?

We have an open bug that the "minor change" isn't being set correctly. This will be fixed.
Editing can also be moving into a better section or changing tags. However, these should set the minor change to TRUE (which they will. Soon)

I often find myself editing questions that does not change the OP too much, but clarifies in terms of spelling, syntax and grammar, just to make it more easily readable and therefore answerable.

QA comments - sorry to bring them up again, but I just noticed that < and > characters get consumed by the HTML when you add them to a comment. So when you write a comment asking for a code fragment in <pre>...</pre> tags it looks a little silly!
Since there are no "<" and ">" buttons as there are with a "normal" message, you have to manually type them as < and > in order to see them in the resulting comment. For a beginner, this is not obvious!
Did you know:
That by counting the rings on a tree trunk, you can tell how many other trees it has slept with.

90% of the stuff on there I've never heard of and never used, of the remaining 10% I can't vote on it because I'm forced to vote on the other 90%. Is this just a thinly veiled piece of marketing fluff or an actual survey? Do you want people to just randomly click away on the stuff they've never heard of?
Yesterday they said today was tomorrow but today they know better.

After reading this thread, i went to the survey section(though i couldn't find a direct link on homepage to the survey in question, which all together can be another topic!). I saw this survey[^]. Went through the options.
I too didn't knew most of them. There should be an option that takes care of such scenarios where OP has no idea of any or most of them.
