[Edit] Is this specifically for the case where you have a narrow filter set (say, Quick-Basic) and the 'unanswered questions' page is filled with old, old questions?cheers,

I would also suggest to remove those Q&A that has 2-3 (or more) votes of 1. (Or some other reasonable way of identifying it!)
At times, there are questions that are downvoted by multiple users but also has some answer.
Just having an answer must not be the criteria for a question to enter into the repository. They too should be filtered out to have a healthy Q&A repository.

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of this:
If a question (any question) has gone longer than 60 days without a response by anyone other the original poster, it gets deleted. Period. There's really no point in keeping old questions around if nobody is going to answer them, and I figured 60 days was long enough to wait. We got some stuff hanging around that dates back to November of last year....45 ACP - because shooting twice is just silly

But what if the OP found the answer to his/her question and posts it? This is (or at least should) be a common case.
But your general idea is good. I'll create a task to clean up questions that haven't been answered in over 60 days or so.

Why John, that is something you can easily solve yourself by providing some answer; even a simple "I don't know, did you Google?" would remove the question from the unanswered list.

That would give an entry to that question (that has no related answer) into the repository! Still not good...

I'm talking about the official CP staff that edit articles (if there still is anyone that does this on staff).
I would simply go insane if I had to do that all frakking day.
Maybe we could get a feature that let us apply the CP style to an article we're editing that removes ANYTHING that decortaes an otherwise normal tag, eliminates escaped space characters, and other crap that new members seem to always put in their articles...
I saw one today where the guy use the <h5> tag instead of <p>, and number of other articles thatinlcude paragraph and line feed tags in <pre> blocks.
I'm surprised these people have been authorized to breath on their own, much less write code..45 ACP - because shooting twice is just silly

Whereas it is normal client side div open for messages in other forums. (no full page reload)

For now, I am facing another issue specifically with this particular forum!
My page does not fully renders and I am unable to see messages.
Done F5 & Cntrl+F5 multiple times but same result! Unable to verify the page load thing for now 
Taken couple of screenshots if you need.

| If you could send the screenshots that would be good. It doesn't sound like a caching issue so forcing an uncached reload (Ctrl+F5) won't help. I've wandered all around that forum and can't see anything my end, but send me the shots and I'll see if I can sleuth this one. cheers,

Happened to me once as well - but that was a week or so ago.Me, I'm dishonest. And a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest.

It happens when your votes come too close together (it's happened to me a couple of thimes in the last few days). This was implemented to prevent univoting. If they have to wait between votes, they may lose interest in the process. Unfortunately, it sometimes spills over into normal site usage..45 ACP - because shooting twice is just silly
