Handle the double click event, it will presumably be passed the node, so delete it from the Items collection in there.

use hittest to see if there is a node under the click
Get the node from the hittest
get the parent node from the node
get confirmation from the user
delete the node from the parents node collection

If you want to enable automatic label edit, try:
TreeView1.LabelEdit = true;
If you want to delete the node, try Mycroft Holmes' post.

I m using Crystal Report for generating Report. In which I m using OLE Object of Word Application and Select the File of 10 Pages.
But it shows only First Page of Word Application. So plese advice me how to show all pages of word application in Crystal Report .

I have some data and I'm needing to analyze it, like the example:
My Data

(...)
I need to evaluate how many times the "Rate" is above certain value (10 for example), how long it be above this value. Also I need to register every time in which "Rate" becomes below 6 for more than 10 minutes, and for how long.

For starters, VB6 is no longer supported, so perhaps you should consider VB.NET Express.
That said, the way to check your data depends on how your data is stored. If it's in a SQL Server database (or similar) a simple SQL statement would be the best way.
If it's in a text file, you will need to open the file, read it one line at a time, parse the line, count the number of times the Rate is out of the range you are looking for etc.
More info is needed. What have you tried already? Where are you stuck?

I Have this data in CSV files, so i imported them to a DBGrid, i've tried some SQL, but I could only "filter" the results.
I'm gonna consider VB Express 2008.

Import the CSV file to an SQL Server database table and use SQL queries to do it. Download SQL Server Express, it's free.

hello every1 , am new to programming. am doin my dissertation on cd database in vb.net. my software should retrieve information from a cd that is manually put into cd drive. software should copy cd info like the artist , name, song , et into a database.
This is where am stuck. am havn problems copying the cd info successfully. now my deadline is in just 1month. This code below was workin few days ago .. now it isnt.

What does 'not working' mean ? You're just grabbing values from media player, is your computer connected to the internet ? Are you testing with the same CD every time ?
This code copies all the text into a poorly named textbox. Surely you should be putting it into the database in this part ? What sort of database do you use ?

Few pointers:
- Post your code in the code block tags (click 'code block')
- (Like CG said) use some better descriptive control names, textbox1 has no meaning
- You said it worked a few days ago, what has changed since then? (in code or on your pc)
- Have you debugged this, if yes where is it going wrong
- What is going wrong?
- Any error? (post it and the line that is causing the error)
Without this information or a mind reading machine nobody is going to be of much help to you

He/she is spamming the whole site. I read them all - it looks like the code is now returning empty strings. I assume this means that the WMP can't find the internet, can't find the CD in the database, or that for some reason, the WMP version is no longer looking up CD data. Obviously, this person has written next to no code, they just found a snippet that gets the info from WMP.
I am having trouble working out how putting all the text in one textbox, constitutes a database.

its not the connection to the database that is the problem, its the begining thats the problem. right after u insert the cd, it doesnt copy the contents off the cd.

I'm sorry, but this makes no sense at all. Perhaps if you answered my reply to you ? You're not getting values anymore, so what changed ? Is it the same CD ? Is your computer online ? Did your windows media player version change ? If you put the CD in to the computer and run windows media player, does it show the right tracklist ?
Do you have a database at all ?

Have you checked to make sure you are inserting the CD upside down? When copying a CD via C# code written in VB, you must reverse the polarity of the pre-recorded bits. The standard method for turning bits into stib is simply to turn the CD over.

Perhaps if you read and responded to the help you've been getting, instead of just reposting the same thing, you'd have it fixed.
Are you waiting for Windows Media Player to get a chance to read the CD contents ? Perhaps the control has an event it fires when it's read a CD and found it's contents ?
