Can someone please help with the CSS for this navigation bar.
I am trying to have drop down lists on my navigation bar but can't seem to view the drop down lists when a link is hovered over, keeping the style and format of my HTML page.
The HTML is as below

your outer layer "nav" has a fixed height - so anything that get shown on hover, may not be visible. You thought of using javascript? - especially jquery - It might make your life easier.

Our web app sends out an email from time to time, which contains a link to log the user into the app (we're using forms authentication, but I don't think that's relevant to this problem.)
The scenario is as follows...in the link, which is a standard HTML anchor tag, we specify _target='OurFrameName'....if IE isn't open, then this correctly opens IE, and navigates to the correct place. If IE is open, and already logged in to the app, then again, this is fine - it takes over the tab and navigates to the right place. However, if we have (for instance) one page open on www.google.com, and the other to our app, then if our app is the ACTIVE tab, it works correctly, but if google is active, it takes over this tab, replaces google and leaves us with 2 instances of our app - which obviously causes problems with session etc.
As I undrestood it, this is the behaviour that we should be seeing with _target="top", but since we're specifying a frame name, it should look through the available tabs, take over an appropriate one if present, and if not spawn a new tab.
The added confusion is that if I save the email to HTML format, then open it in IE, then it functions exactly as I would expect - so I think it's something to do with the link being in an email that's displayed in Outlook...it's almost as if the link's only looking in Outlook's "IE", not finding the correct frame, and hence opening a new tab, which then opens in "actual IE"....
Anyone have any ideas as to what I could do to force the behaviour we need? I've tried various Tab options in IE (always open new etc), but nothing seems to make much of a difference, and there appears to be nothing in Outlook to help to control this...

Hi I am using AjaxControlToolkit AutocompleteExtender control.I am using it to search email Ids delimited by comma.
It's default behavior is like this :
Say I typed a.............it returns say abc@hotmail.com
axd@gmail.com......and so on
Now say after selecting an email id(say abc@hotmail.com) I put a comma and search for another Id..say I type b.........it returns abc@hotmail.com,bmw@gmail.com
abc@hotmail.com,bcr@yahoo.com
abc@hotmail.com,brd@rediffmail.com ....and so on.
INSTEAD I WANT IT LIKE,
bmw@gmail.com
bcr@yahoo.com
brd@rediffmail.com....and so on.
I meant to say the new search result is appended with the whole Target TextBox's value.But I want search result for newly typed character only.
I hope I could make you understand my problem.I just want to extend the AutoCompleteExtender control of AjaxControlToolkit.....but how?????????I have no idea.
I searched a lot for this problem..but the solutions I got is applicable for Atlas...not for AjaxControlToolkit.
Can anyone get me the solution?

need script or app for image slide show in dreamweaver or flash web page. If app, no company text promoting their app can be displayed.
Also looking for the same thing for video gallery, would like to have mouse roll over event script and gallery app as bing has for their video (video plays when mouse is on it)

I wouldn't think if you're writing a flash component that a slideshow would be a lot of work, but, either way, the jobs section of this site is the place to look for complete solutions, the programming forums are for people who have code and need help with it.

Get the result from where ? What do you mean by 'text string' ? You could strip HTML tags if the result is HTML or XML.

Well, what on earth are you trying to ask ? Are you asking how to get a search result at all ? You didn't say that, and I can't imagine you'd ask that, given how much info there is on the web on how to interact with google, etc.

I need to integrate an open source calendar to our web application for scheduling appointments. We may need to integrate(synchronize) this calendar/Schedules with the following personal calendars used by the customer/merchants.
Personal calendars to be integrated (synchronized) with : Lotus Notes, Black Berry, Google Calendar,iCal, Yahoo calendar, Msn calendar, Outlook

Well, look at the entries in each calender and create/amend/delete as required. I expect yuo will need to do some reasearch to find the required api calls for each type of calender, but thats part of development.

I do and I did. You will need to research the APIs for each vendor's calender and then write the code to add/delete/update each record that differs.
What were you expecting, someone to give you details for each vendor? They will all be different,although there will be a common set of functionality the implemntations will be different.
So go off and do your research and come back with specific questions.

I'm new to JAva .
I am opening a window from another window. Whne the window is done I want to pst the form in the first window.
I call the window MYWINDOW.
I have set up a While loop and am calling the following function.
function checkwin()
{
if (MYWINDOW.CLOSED)
x=0;
}
As soon as I close the window I see Error on page at the bottom of the screen.
What is wrong?
