Not exactly, but you may try somethig like this with the Date [^]object in javascript:

var toDate = new Date('02/10/2009');
var fromDate = new Date('03/10/2009');

if(fromDate > toDate)
	alert('From date is greater...');

toDate = 10th Feb 2009
fromDate = 10th March 2009

So it is better to use setFullYear(year,month -1, day) like this:

var toDate=new Date();
toDate.setFullYear(2009,9,2); // Represents 2nd October 2009.

sir at the time of designing of crystal report i have used connection string for oledb connection.but now i want edit my that connection string from code behind.

is there any way.if yes then please help

in Js controls are accessed by their id using document.getElementById

document.getElementById('textbox1').value=c;

Hello, This is Vikash.

I have created an OCX Control in VB6.0 for Controlling a USB Device.

In the OCX Control I have a function where I get data from the USB Device.

Now my query is How Can I pass this data from OCX Control to a Textbox on the same WebPage.

Anyone Having any idea, or Can it be done in the first place.

If Yes, then some ideas please.

I believe that if you create a COM object in VBScript, you can access it's properties. An IE web page can run VBScript on the client, and of course, your site will now only work in IE anyhow.

Thanks Christian for the reply.

Actually, I have a USB Card Reader.

And I am getting Data from this Device in an Event when some Card is swapped on the device.

Bcoz of this event I need to use the OCX Control to trap the event and get data.

Now I need to Pass this data to my WebPage which will take this data, Search for a Match in the DB and Display other details like Name, Code, Image of the person who has punched the Card.

Any Idea please, I need to somehow get this information.

You can store it in App_Data folder. Assign the database path on connection string. If you have any doubt on connection string,refer this site.[^]

Check the IIS Permissions so that it have Access to read writ Delete Operations
