This is not an ASP.NET tool, but it looks really cool. View the demo and pay close attention to the ability for graphic images to have "layers". (Demo - Create New Layers and Mouseover Properties)

You could have a base model with no clothes on and "layer" new clothes on top of the base image.

I've never used it, but it looks cool.

Hi all,
I have a web form for registration. After enter required username, i need to check whether it is already using by another user. So i need to disable the remaining components on the page until the completion of the checking.
I would like to use Javascript. But no luck so far.
Can any body please help me?

Create modal effect by having a div, or other element, placed over top of the page. There are several examples of this but I think Netflix was the first to use it.

Hello All,

I am using following hyperlink code to open a popup window using javascript.

I want to pass a querystring to SearchBOM.aspx page based on the value entered in a textbox.
How can i achieve this?

You can create a variable called parameter and add you query string to this and use following code..

I have to create a statement for each client from my application.I have a stored procedure that filters the transactions data for each client using say the client ID.Linking or executing the stored procedure is a method in my data access layer through to my business layer returning a datatable.I want my crystal report to be populated using this methods, so i can pass the client ID as a parameter. Please help.

I defined a enum as
public enum Access

Guest = 1,
Public = 2,
Center = 4,
Member = 8,
Trader = 16

}

there are 5 checkboxes in my asp.net page suppose user checked Guest and Center then Value of center and Guest i.e.(1+4=5) 5 will save in Database in integar field..

Now my Question is I am getting Value from database like
categoriesDTO.CatAccess = (Access)r["CategoryStatus"];

Now enum has value 5... So how can i check these 2 checkboxes of center and Guest

You cannot!

How you think you will make 5 into 4 and 1??? It could either be 2 and 3!!

Save comma separated values like 1,4 in database and then fetch, split and use them.

Hi all.. My question is Genuine..

Bcoz if stored value is 5 it means only 1 and 4 checkbox has to be checked. No other Chekbox make combination of 2 +3 bcoz 2 is a value but 3 is not there

Up until now we have developed projects in asp.net 3.5
Would you say it is a good idea to start all the new web projects in silverlight instead of asp.net ?
I ask this question because it seems silverlight is the future of asp.net
What do you think please?

It is very important to understand something before you use it or say anything about it. i think you have to buy Books for that you will know the Difference between the two. Silverlight and ASP.NET Compliment each other. So if i were you i will start buying Books and read.
