Hi,

Thanks for your quick response....I have 4 list items in DropDownList like this

                                                                                                                                                <asp:ListItem Value="samp2">Sample2</asp:ListItem>

<asp:ListItem Value="samp4">Sample4</asp:ListItem>
</asp:DropDownList>

2)I have set the properties for FileUpload to

3)Now my issue is....for selecting the dropdownlist items Sample1, Sample 3, RequiredFieldValidator should not fire...and for the remaining items RequiredFieldValidator has to fire....

Hi,

Why dont you use CustomValidator??

Google on it, it will help you.

hiii....i got error(error:cc1:Aniamtionextendre can not be set on property animations) on the following code.Tell me where m i wrong.

Hi All,

In my Project, I want to Convert Data fetched from SQL server 2005 database to AL3 (ACORD Automation Layer 3) Format using c# 2.0(I am working in ASP.NET with c#) I have read some documents online about AL3 format. But I didn't get how to parse Data into AL3 format. Please help if you have any idea..

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with the asp.net chart control and can't figure out what it is.. I have created 3 charts which work perfectly when running from my local machine - they pull the data from another machine I wish to host the charts on. After setting up the charts on the host computer I've hit a wall - the actual images of the charts cannot be displayed - i.e. You can only see the placeholders where they should be. I have also tried running it through localhost on the new machine but the same problem comes up. I'm new to ASP so any help is greatly appreciated.

You can use ajax technologies.

for example:
CallBack,IHttpHandler,and also ScriptManager

i have a site. i wrote this site before using html codes and i published it in httpdocs directory. Now i wrote this site again by using Asp codes. i can not publish it. My main file is default.aspx. is there anybody who will help me?

I guess the error message is saying that you are using Apache as webserver. As far as I know it is not possible to use ASP.NET with an Apache webserver (except the Mono way, maybe).

you can publish your website in visual studio by going in build menu and there is an option for publish website, from there you can publish your website.

I need to set a perticular cell color. I know how to set the whole gridview background color or a row bkg color, but I dont know how to do it for a particular one...

You can do this!
For example:

Why would your stored proc include a drop statement ? This looks messy to me, it certainly looks wrong.

The first intelligent thing to do, is to run the proc inside your DB, so you can check if the proc is broken, or the code is broken. The code looks OK to me.
